This is week 21 of Kelly Barone 2015 Challenge.

A couple of weeks ago, I started working on digital art and collage with the Procreate app on my iPad. This has turned out to be a very addictive process, and I have close to twenty paintings in progress. Here are the ones I finished this week.
The layers in this one include a Gelli® print, a photo of a peony from my garden, and the tree which started out as a small bitmap, so that scaling it up made the edges fuzzy.
This one has four layers: a Gelli print, a texture pattern, a page scanned from a 1922 dictionary, and a line drawing.
In this one, I started with the background, blending a rust texture with a Gelli print. The vase was painted in Procreate, and the flower started out as a photo, and I added a painterly look in Procreate.
Look for a whole week of digital art starting tomorrow.
I’ve been playing with the new doll Zencils™ from Acadia Laser Creations. Click the image to see my review.
This week, I created two new mandala templates, #42 and #43.
If you want to see all the artwork I have done since the beginning of the year, I have posted all the pieces in this Flickr album.
