Sometimes, mindlessness can be good!

In the last week, I decided to prep a bunch of art journal pages, just so I wouldn’t be faced with the white page syndrome. When I painted a page, I used a piece of paper behind the page I was working on, to protect the rest of the book. After a few days, I had several pieces of paper that looked like this.

I was intrigued by the patterns, so I grabbed my circle punches and got a bunch of these.

Aren’t they cool! They look like miniature paintings, abstracts and landscapes.

Here are some closeups (click the image for a larger view).

I took one of them and made a pin with it. (It’s about 2-1/4″ in diameter).

Isn’t it amazing how beautiful things can come from unexpected places?

WOW – these are absolutely STUNNING!!!!!!!!! I’d love to have a couple to bead around!!!
You just don’t stop to amaze me with your creativity!!!

Thanks! I’ll set some aside for you. I’m thinking about using some as centerpiece in bead embroidery.

Thanks!!! I like the landscape-y ones best 🙂 I didn’t even think about bead embroidery but they’ll be perfect for that too!!! so many possibilities…
