Below is my second attempt at tangling a gourd. I used a dark brown Micron pen (from Sakura), and a red ProMarker (from Letraset). There were two challenges; first, I found it difficult to draw precisely on a rounded surface. Also, it takes a while for the ink to dry, so you have to be careful not to smear the ink with your hand.
This was a long-distance play-date with two of my artist friends.

It is beautiful Genevieve! I love the design on here.
Thanks Teri!
It was so hard while staring at my big empty gourd not to zip over to your "house" for inspiration! It took a while for my muse to "process" this new direction!
I am enjoying seeing all the "tangle" designs you have used to fill the spaces you created - especially the one around the neck!
I tended to color the space and then zentangle over the top. I love how you and Teri use color to draw tangles as well. Must give that a try!
Thank you for playing with me! Fun! Fun! Fun!
Thanks Pam, it was a great play-date!
Your tangles are fabulous on the gourd. I like the dab of color too.
Wowza! This is awesome!
what fun!
This is sooooooo cool!!!
