Roxann Blazetich-Ozols: Double St. Petersburg Stitch Bracelet

Description:

Learn the basics of the double St. Petersburg stitch by creating this beautiful fringe drop and seed bead bracelet. Beginners to this stitch can dive right into the construction of this piece or practice first by making smaller bits that can be used for a pendant and earrings. Several colour options will be available with the kit that includes illustrated instructions, beads, findings, thread and needles.

Instructor Bio

The BEADADDICT is Roxann Blazetich-Ozols - also a Canadian jewellery and beadwork kit design business operated since 1999. Using her original beaded jewellery designs, Roxann has taught classes, sold her beadwork and fundraised for sports teams in Ontario, Québec, British Columbia, Nova Scotia and Alberta. Her work was recently published in the spring 2009 and Summer 2010 issues of the Canadian magazine A Needle Pulling Thread. A collaborative project using Mary Ann Helmond's albino peacock beads (www.mabeads.ca) and Roxann's supporting beadwork has been accepted into the International Society of Glass Beadmakers 2011 exhibit for a year long tour of glass museums and bead shows.
